National Animal By-Product Feedstuff Report

This report is published weekly on Friday and includes the U.S. average price and marketings by type of peanut (Runner, Spanish, Valencia, and Virginia). The report also highlights averages and changes in peanut pricing for the week for farmer stock peanuts and runner-type peanuts. Data for this report is obtained from the first buyers of farmer stock peanuts.

This monthly release contains the stocks of peanuts, treated seed, and specified products (e.g. peanut butter, oil, cake and meal) at the end of the previous month, millings, utilization, and crushing. Also contained is production and disappearance data for milled products in the U.S. Data is organized by year, month, and type of peanut (Virginias and Valencias, Runners, Spanish), by production and stocks (crude oil or cake and meal), or by type of peanut product. Peanut stock data and processing estimates are based on a survey conducted during the first three weeks of the month from peanut processing facilities.

This file contains the regional and national end-of-month stocks of meats, dairy products, poultry products, fruits, nuts, and vegetables in public, private and semi-private refrigerated warehouses. The file also contains the record highs years and quantities of frozen fruit and juice, vegetables, potatoes, red meat, and commodities in cold storage.

This report contains data on the annual number of turkeys raised. Data is presented on a national basis where historical trends for number of turkeys raised is also included. Data is also presented on a state basis for major states over the past two years. This report is a continuation of the Turkeys report by NASS.

This annual release presents the final estimates on Irish potatoes for the US, including acreage, yield per acre, production, farm disposition, season average price, value, and utilization of sales, processing with historic comparisons, and stocks for the 15 major fall producing states. Production, disposition, and value data for Alaska are shown separately. This is a supplement to Potato stocks. Data and estimates are the result of Quarterly Agricultural Surveys and Grower Special Surveys.

National Grain and Oilseed Processor Feedstuff Report

This report contains information on wholesale and retail prices for grassfed beef by cut, average prices by region, and retail price comparisons to commodity beef. Also includes information on carcass prices for small producers and cost of production. This report is released monthly.

Cattle are classified and graded using official USDA feeder cattle standards and replacement cattle guidelines. Price information is released by USDA’s Livestock, Poultry, and Grain Market News Division under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service. This report is a weighted average report.

This report covers pasture raised poultry prices on a national basis for chickens, turkeys, ducks, and eggs. Poultry prices are listed by cut and include the price range, average price, and some premiums. This is a monthly release.

Import Beef Trade (NW_LS421)

This report is a weekly or bi-weekly hay report containing trades, ask, and offering prices for forage commodities which include hay, straw, and silage. Hay is classified and graded using USDA hay quality designations and guidelines based on test parameters and/or physical description. Price information is released by USDA’s Livestock, Poultry, and Grain Market News Division under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service. This report will display a price range and weighted average price for established trades, and a bid price range if a trade is not established, but an asking price is given by a potential seller or offering price given by a potential buyer.

This report covers pasture raised pork prices on a national basis. Pork prices are listed by cut and include the price range, average price, and some premiums.
