This is a weekly/monthly/seasonal auction report containing prices paid for livestock. Livestock are offered for sale and viewed via video feed. All livestock included in this report are graded and reported according to official USDA live animal standards or guidelines. Load lots of livestock are sold on contract for immediate-to-future delivery. Reports are organized based on USDA’s LPGMN formatting guidelines and instructions, under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service. This report is a weighted average report released on the current day after completion of the sale.

Beaver Livestock Auction Slaughter/Replacement Cattle - Beaver, OK

This report covers cattle sales and grain prices. Cattle are categorized by sex, grade and weight with average prices for the current week, the prior week, and the past year. Slaughter cattle prices are categorized by sex, grade, and dress. Grain prices are categorized by variety and included the prices for the current week, the prior week, and the past year. Also included are goat and lamb prices, categorized by grade and weight. Recent price trends are included as well.

Tennessee Valley Livestock - Video/Board Sale - Florence, AL

Description: Regulated Plant Lists are milk plants, often defined as "handlers," who are regulated under the Federal Milk Marketing Orders. Market Administrators in each Federal Order compile monthly lists of milk plants that meet the qualification criteria defined in CFR§1000, which defines the regulations for the Federal Orders.
Report Synopsis: The regulated plant list report is updated monthly as data are submitted by the individual Orders to the Market Information Branch of the AMS Dairy Program. This report lists the number of Federal Orders under which each plant is regulated for the particular month. Although a plant cannot be regulated under more than one order in the same month, some plants may be regulated by one order one month and then be regulated under another order the following month. Regulated handlers are required to submit to the Market Administrator the amounts of producer milk, in pounds, that were received in the previous month. The regulated plant list report lists both regulated pool distributing plants and regulated pool supply plants. Pool distributing plants package and distribute Class I fluid milk products. Pool supply plants supply pool distributing plants with Grade A milk as the need arises. The exact qualification standards and criteria for these two groups of regulated milk handling entities are defined in the statute for each Federal Milk Marketing Order (See CFR §1000 for each Order).

This report contains information on the Winchester Feeder Cattle Sale. Data presented includes cattle receipts and information on feeder cattle. Feeder cattle are categorized by age, sex, and grade, with weight ranges for each. Each weight range includes data on price and number of heads.

This report contains the results of the Alabama livestock auctions, with commentary on trends. Statistics include head, weight range, average weight, price range, and average price for slaughter cows and feeder steers by grade and size, respectively.
