This report contains the daily direct prior day sow and boar report for the western cornbelt based on state of origin, including current volume by purchase type, and negotiated purchase for sows, as well as sows and boar purchases by state of origin.

This report contains a summary of bids for producers for grain delivered in bulk to elevators in North Carolina. Includes prices by week day categorized by type of grain and name of the feed mill or elevator. This is a weekly release.

This report covers bison carcasses and cuts. Data is presented on slaughter numbers, carcasses, and meat cuts. Bison slaughter numbers are presented on a weekly basis. Carcasses are categorized by age and sex with information on number, weight, and prices. Meat is categorized based on cut, fresh or frozen, and wholesale or direct; each category contains the price and weight of the cut. Also included are price trends compared to the prior month as well as volume of Canadian imports of live bison and bison meat.

The survey collects information on organizations that either provide off-farm water for farms or manage groundwater usage on farms. A number of the tables intend to provide a breakdown of the services the organizations provide, the amount of water they work with, and the economic conditions they work under. The upcoming report is a recently renewed follow on for the Irrigation and Water Management Survey.

This report covers the Producers Livestock Auction, Co, Special Feeder Calf Auction. Data presented includes number of receipts and cattle sale information. Feeder cattle prices are listed by sex, grade, and weight with each weight category also containing the number of heads sold. Also included are average weight and average prices for each category and a market trend analysis.

This report is a weekly cattle report containing direct trades of feeder and replacement sheep. Cattle are classified and graded using official USDA feeder cattle standards and replacement sheep guidelines. Price information is released by USDA’s Livestock, Poultry, and Grain Market News Division under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service.
