SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (761)
WINONA (135), PHILADELPHIA (388), and BROOKHAVEN (237) ON 
Tues Apr 30, 2019

Receipts:       1,521         Last Week:      1,590        Last Year:    1,937

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold steady to 2.00 lower and 
bulls sold 2.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steer sold 5.00 to 7.00 lower 
and heifers sold 2.00 to 7.00 lower. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 20 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 52 percent steers and 48 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
