SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (542) and 
COMO (353) ON Wed Sep 11, 2019

Receipts:      895          Last Week:    987        Last Year:   938

Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 5.00 lower 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers and heifers sold 1.00 to 15.00 lower. 
The supply included 12 percent slaughter cows and 6 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 61 percent steers 
and 39 percent heifers, with an estimated 14 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
