SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (601), 
FOREST (1,011), MERIDIAN (515), MACON (328), HOUSTON (430), 
WEST POINT (807), AND GRENADA (146) ON Mon Mar 18, 2019.

Receipts:     3,838          Last Week:     3,134        Year:    2,637

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers sold steady to 10.00 higher and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 15 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 56 percent 
steers and 44 percent heifers, with an estimated 14 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
