SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (451) and 
COMO (201) ON Wed May 15, 2019

Receipts:      652          Last Week:       1,051        Last Year:   1,375

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher 
and bulls sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 5.00 to 20.00 lower 
and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 23 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 50 percent steers 
and 50 percent heifers, with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
