SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (570), 
WINONA (506), PHILADELPHIA (417), and BROOKHAVEN (166) ON 
Tues Feb 5, 2019

Receipts:       1,659         Last Week:     549        Last Year:    1,228

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 2.00 to 8.00 higher 
and bulls sold 2.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 6.00 higher 
and heifers sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 10 percent slaughter cows and 11 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 53 percent steers and 47 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 16 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
