SUMMARY OF 7 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN HATTIESBURG (796), 
FOREST (1,461), MERIDIAN (803), MACON (399), HOUSTON (168), 
WEST POINT (575), AND GRENADA (254) ON Mon May 27, 2019.

Receipts:     4,456          Last Week:     3,719        Year:    3,567

Compared to last Monday, slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. 
Feeder steers and heifers sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. 
The supply included 13 percent slaughter cows and 18 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent 
steers and 46 percent heifers, with an estimated 14 percent of the 
feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
