SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (699), 
WINONA (241), PHILADELPHIA (290), and BROOKHAVEN (89) ON 
Tues Feb 12, 2019

Receipts:       1,319         Last Week:     1,659        Last Year:    699

Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 4.00 higher 
and bulls sold 5.00 to 8.00 higher. Feeder steers sold 2.00 to 8.00 higher 
and heifers sold 2.00 to 5.00 higher. 
The supply included 16 percent slaughter cows and 14 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 54 percent steers and 46 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
