   Compared to two weeks ago in Missouri slaughter lambs and slaughter
ewes steady.

Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 2-3:
  Missouri:        no test.
Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 1-2:
  Missouri:        hair 50-60 lbs 227.50-272.50; 60-70 lbs 212.50-240.00;
                   70-80 lbs 190.00-220.00; 80-90 lbs 165.00-185.00; 90-
                   100 lbs 160.00-180.00. wooled and shorn 58 lbs 230.00.
Slaughter Ewes:
  Missouri:        Good 2-3 (fleshy) no test; Utility and Good 1-3 (medium
                   flesh) hair 700.00-80.00; Cull and Utility 1-2 (very
                   thin) no test.
Feeder Lambs:      Medium and Large 1-2:
  Missouri:        47 lbs 180.00. hair 25 lbs 220.00; 30-40 lbs 260.00-
                   270.00; 40-50 lbs 230.00-270.00; 50 lbs 280.00.
Replacement Ewes:
  Missouri:        yearling hair 135.00/head; young hair 110.00-250.00/
                   head; middle age hair155.00/head.

Sheep and lamb slaughter under federal inspection for the week to date
totaled 8,000 compared with 10,000 last week and 9,000 last year.
