   Compared to last week at Sioux Falls, SD heavy slaughter lambs 2.00-
4.00 lower; slaughter ewes 10.00-15.00 higher.

Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 2-3:
  Sioux Falls:  wooled and shorn 100-150 lbs 106.00-119.00; 150-160 lbs
                101.00-107.00.
Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:  wooled and shorn 80=90 lbs 139.00-160.00; 90-100 lbs
                102.50-107.50, few 129.00-138.00. hair 78 lbs 175.00;
                83 lbs 185.00.
Slaughter Ewes:
  Sioux Falls:  Good 3-4 (very fleshy) 65.00-90.00; Good 2-3 (fleshy)
                75.00-95.00; Utility 1-2 (thin) 45.00-55.00, few 65.00;
                Cull 1 35.00.
Feeder Lambs:    Medium and Large 1-2:
  Sioux Falls:  47 lbs 190.00; 60-70 lbs 190.00-215.00; 74 lbs 215.00;

Replacement Ewes:   Medium and Large 1-2:

Sheep and lamb slaughter under federal inspection for the week to date
totaled 22,000 compared with 22,000 last week and 26,000 for the same
period last year.
