   Compared to two weeks ago in Missouri slaughter lambs steady to 8.00
lower; slaughter ewes 5.00-10.00 lower.

Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 2-3:
  Missouri:        wooled and shorn 121 lbs 150.00.
Slaughter Lambs:   Choice and Prime 1-2:
  Missouri:        hair 50-70 lbs 215.00-245.00; 70-80 lbs 190.00-225.00;
                   80-90 lbs 190.00-210.00; 92 lbs 195.00. wooled and
                   shorn 59 lbs 215.00; 79 lbs 205.00; 109 lbs 205.00.
Slaughter Ewes:
  Missouri:        Good 2-3 (fleshy) hair 90.00-110.00; Utility and Good
                   1-3 (medium flesh) hair 88.00; Cull and Utility 1-2
                   (very thin) 69.00.
Feeder Lambs:      Medium and Large 1-2:
  Missouri:        hair 30-40 lbs 205.00-250.00; 40-50 lbs 185.00-240.00.
Replacement Ewes:
  Missouri:        yearling hair 120.00-135.00/head; young hair 135.00-
                   180.00/head.

Sheep and lamb slaughter under federal inspection for the week to date
totaled 101,000 compared with 11,000 last week and 9,000 last year.
