                     Bureau of the Census Cotton Information

Cotton consumed during the month ending November 30, 1994, amounted to
826,228 bales.  Cotton on hand in consuming establishments at the end of
November was 576,462 bales, and the total in public storage and in compresses
was 11,062,742 bales.  Active consuming cotton spindles totaled 2,913,000, and
the quantity of domestic cotton exported, excluding linters, was 648,900 bales

December 22, 1994.
