     WPC 34% prices are unchanged, and the market tone is calm. Some industry contacts suggest
     they are seeing more offers from processors, while a few manufacturers report getting more
     inquiries from acquisitive buyers. Most contacts contend that WPC34% inventories are
     generally tight. Stocks for favored brands and WPC34% that meets infant formula requirements
     are shorter in supply than WPC34% that is more interchangeable with other protein sources.
     Production is steady. Some in the industry are watching developments for higher whey protein
     concentrations closely. Recent price concessions in those markets could shift production
     patterns and place more pressure on WPC34% markets.
