     Whey Protein Concentrate - Central and Western U.S.

     Prices for whey protein concentrate 34% moved higher at the top of the price range and both
     ends of the mostly price series. Manufacturers say they are getting more inquiries for WPC
     34% as prices for alternative dairy proteins have moved higher. WPC 34% inventories are
     getting tighter as end users look to substitute WPC 34% for the now more expensive dairy
     proteins. Brands that meet tight end user specifications continue to have higher demand and
     tight supplies. WPC 34% production is steady.
