With seasonal week to week decreases in milk output, low/medium heat NDM production is decreasing. High heat NDM prices moved lower. Some manufacturers anticipate no high heat NDM production will be scheduled during this month, but those running high heat NDM production note schedules as steady. Demand for high heat NDM is moderate. The August 2023 Dairy Market News monthly average for the West low/medium heat nonfat dry milk (NDM) mostly series is $1.1011, compared to $1.1113 a month ago.
