Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary Georgia Cattle Auctions that were held Wednesday Apr 03, 2019 Cattle auctions at Ashburn (1367) Athens (622), Donalsonville (420), Jackson (292) Moultrie (361) and Washington (311). Receipts Wednesday 3,373 week ago 3,480 and year ago 3,032. Compared to last week slaughter cows and slaughter bulls steady to 3.00 lower, feeder steers and steers calves steady to 3.00 higher, feeder bulls and feeder heifers mostly steady, bull calves and heifer calves unevenly steady, replacement cows mostly steady. Slaughter cows 14 percent; slaughter bulls 2 percent; and feeders 84 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 13 percent of the run; heifers 41 percent; bulls 35 percent and replacement cows 11 percent. Feeders over 600 lbs totaled around 12 percent.
