SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are 6 cents higher on Extra Large and Large, up
3 cents on Medium.  Regional and California prices are steady.  The
undertone is higher.  Offerings are light to instances moderate.  
Retail and food service demand is moderate to fairly good in all areas.
Supplies are moderate in California and the Midwest region, light to
moderate elsewhere for current needs.  Market activity is moderate to
active.  Breaking stock floor stocks are light to moderate; breaking
schedules are full-time to extended.  Light type fowl offerings are
at least sufficient for the light to moderate demand.
