SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are 22 cents higher for Extra Large and Large and 
15 cents higher for Medium.  California and regional prices are up 74 
cents for Jumbo, up 74 to 79 cents for Extra Large, up 74 to 78 cents 
for Large, up 71 to 74 cents for Medium, and up 74 cents for Small.  
The undertone is higher.  Retail and foodservice demand is moderate to 
good.  Offerings remain light to very light.  Supplies are light to 
moderate.  Market activity is moderate to active.  Breaking stock 
supplies are light to moderate; breaking schedules are normal to 
reduced.  Spent fowl offerings are moderate for the light demand.
