SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York eggs prices are 5 cents lower for larger sizes and 1 cent 
lower for Medium.  Regional and California prices are steady.  The 
undertone is lower in most regions however, lower to sharply lower 
in California.  Supplies vary and are mostly moderate to heavy for 
current needs. Offerings are moderate to heavy.  Demand in California 
is light to moderate, but elsewhere, demand is moderate.   Market 
activity is slow to moderate.  Breaking stock offerings are light to 
moderate for the moderate to fairly good demand.  Spent hen offerings 
are moderate; processing schedules are normal to less than normal.
