SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


Prices in New York are 3 cents lower for both heavy and lighter 
weight eggs.  Regional and California prices are 8 cents lower 
for Jumbo, 1 to 16 cents lower for Extra Large, 1 to 15 cents
lower for Large, 3 to 6.6 cents lower for Medium, and 3 cents
lower for Small. Trade sentiment is lower. Supplies vary, but are
generally moderate. Offerings are light to heavy, mostly moderate.
Demand is usually moderate. Market activity is slow to moderate. 
Breaking stock offerings are light to moderate for a full-time to
instances over-time breaking schedules.  Light type hen offerings
are moderate for a light demand.
