SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are unchanged on larger sizes and Medium.
California and regional prices are steady.  The undertone is
steady, however steady to lower on larger sizes and steady to
higher on Medium in California.  Supplies and offerings are 
in a full range, mostly moderate for needs.  The shell egg
inventory is 0.7 percent higher when compared to the previous 
week.  Retail and distributive demand is light to fairly good.
Market activity is slow to moderate.  Breaking stock offerings
are light for the light to moderate demand.  Breaking stock
inventory is 1.6 percent higher than last week.  Light type
fowl supplies are light to moderate; processing schedules
are less than full-time.
