SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York eggs are 7 cents higher for Extra Large and Large and up 3 
cents for Medium.  California and regional prices are 4 cents higher 
for Jumbo, up 4 to 48 cents for Extra Large and Large, unchanged to 
28 cents higher for Medium, and unchanged for Small.  The undertone 
is higher.  Retail demand is moderate to good, while foodservice demand 
is generally moderate.  Offerings are light to at times very light.  
Supplies are very light to moderate.  Market activity is moderate to 
active.  Breaking stock offerings are light very light for the light 
to moderate demand.  Light type fowl supplies are moderate; processing 
schedules are normal.
