Regional and California egg prices are steady. The undertone is steady to lower. Supplies are mixed, ranging light to at times heavy, but usually moderate for needs. The National shell egg inventory is 9.5% less than the previous week. Offerings are light to available, mostly moderate. Demand varies and is moderate to good, best where reorders after the holiday kick in. Market activity is slow to moderate in the South Central and California, moderate to instances available in the Southeast, moderate in the Midwest and Northeast. Breaking stock offerings and demand are light. The National breaking stock inventory is down 1.4%. Spent hen supplies are adequate; demand is light and unaggressive.
