SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are up 3 cents for Extra Large and Large and 
10 cents higher for Medium.  California and regional prices are 
35 cents higher for Jumbo, up 32 to 38 cents for Extra Large, 31 
to 38 cents higher for Large, up 29 to 54 cents for Medium, and 
48 cents higher for Small.  The undertone is mostly firm.  Retail 
demand is moderate to fairly good, while foodservice demand is light 
to mostly moderate.  Offerings are very light to light.  Supplies 
are light to instances moderate.  Market activity is moderate to 
active.  Breaking stock supplies are light to at times moderate; 
breaking schedules are normal to reduced. Spent fowl demand is light 
for the light to moderate offerings.
