SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are up 1 cent for larger sizes and 5 cents higher 
for Medium.  Regional and California egg are steady.  The undertone 
is steady to firm.  The national shell egg inventory is 5.2 percent 
higher when compared to the previous week.  Retail and foodservice 
demand is moderate to fairly good.  Offerings are light.  Supplies 
range very light to moderate.  Market activity is moderate to instances 
active.  Breaking stock offerings are light for the fairly good to 
good demand.  The national breaking stock inventory is up 0.1 percent 
from last week.  Spent fowl supplies are fully sufficient; processing 
schedules are normal.
