SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


Prices in New York are unchanged on all sizes.  California and
regional prices are steady.  The undertone is steady to higher 
in California, steady to fully steady in the Northeast and the
South Central, steady elsewhere.  Supplies are light to at times
heavy, mostly moderate for needs.  Offerings are moderate in most
areas, however light to moderate in California and moderate to 
heavy in the South Central.  Demand into all channels is moderate 
to fairly good.  Market activity is slow to mostly moderate in the 
regions, while moderate to active in California.  Breaking stock 
offerings are moderate to heavy for the light to moderate demand.  
Light type hen offerings are light to moderate; demand is light to
fair.
