SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are 12 cents higher for Extra Large and Large and 
up 5 cents for Medium.  California and regional egg prices are steady.  
The undertone is higher. Demand is moderate to fairly good. Offerings 
are light to very light. Supplies are light to moderate. Market 
activity is moderate to active. The National shell egg inventory is
0.4% lower than last week. Breaking stock prices are steady to mostly 
higher with check and undergrade prices higher. The undertone is steady
to firm. Demand is light. Offerings are light to very light. The National
breaking stock inventory declined 10.7% compared to a week ago. Spent fowl 
supplies are moderate; processing schedules are normal to at times reduced.
