SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


Regional and California prices are steady on Jumbo, 10 to 19.5
cents lower for Extra Large, down 12 to 19.5 cents for Large,
7.5 to 15 cents lower for Medium and Small.  New York prices
are unchanged on all sizes.  The undertone is steady to lower.  
Offerings are moderate to at times heavy.  Demand into the 
retail and distributive channels range light to fairly good,
mostly light to moderate.  Supplies are mixed, moderate to
instances heavy for trade needs.  Market activity is slow to
moderate.  Breaking stock floor stocks are moderate to at
times light; breaking schedules are irregular, mostly
full-time.  Light type hen supplies are adequate for the 
light to fair at best demand.
