SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


Regional and California prices are unchanged for Jumbo, 
unchanged to 11 cents lower for Extra Large, unchanged 
to 13 cents lower for Large, unchanged to 1 cent lower 
for Medium and 1 cent lower for Small.  New York egg
prices are unchanged on all sizes.  The undertone is 
steady in most areas, but in California the undertone is
mixed.  Supplies and offerings are in a full range of 
light to instances heavy, mostly moderate.  Demand into
all channels is light to fairly good, generally moderate.  
Winter storms in parts of the country caused on power 
outages and transportation issues at some plants.  Market 
activity is slow to moderate.  Breaking stock supplies are 
adequate for a light to moderate demand.  Light type hen 
supplies are light to moderate for the fair at best demand.
