SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York eggs are unchanged for Extra Large, Large, and Medium.  
Regional and California prices are steady.  The undertone is 
generally steady.  Market activity is moderate.  The national 
shell egg inventory is 0.6 percent lower when compared to the 
previous week.  Retail demand is moderate to good and foodservice 
demand is moderate to at times fairly good.  Offerings are light 
to instances moderate.  Supplies remain light to moderate.  Market 
activity is moderate.  Breaking stock supplies are light to moderate;
breaking schedules are normal to reduced.  The national breaking 
stock inventory is down 2.3 percent from last week.  Spent fowl 
offerings are at least moderate for the light demand.
