SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York prices are up 8 cents for larger sizes and 10 cents higher 
for Medium.  California prices are 27 cents higher for Jumbo, Extra 
Large and Large, 34 cents lower for Medium, and Small.  Regional 
prices are up 37 to 43.5 cents for Extra Large and Large and 13 to 
21 cents higher for Medium.  The undertone is mostly higher.  Retail 
demand remains moderate to good and foodservice demand is light to 
moderate.  Offerings are very light to light.  Supplies are very light 
to moderate.  Market activity is active.  Breaking stock supplies are 
light to at times moderate; breaking schedules are normal to reduced.  
Light type fowl supplies are light to moderate for the light demand.
