SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are 5 cents lower for Extra Large and Large,
but prices for Medium remain unchanged.  Regional and California 
prices are steady.  The undertone is steady to lower.  Supplies 
are moderate to heavy.  The National shell egg inventory is 3% 
higher when compared to a week ago.  Offerings range light to 
instances heavy, mostly moderate.  Demand is moderate to instance 
light in California, moderate in the regions.  Market activity is 
slow to moderate.  Breaking stock offerings are light to moderate 
for a moderate to fairly good demand. Light hen offerings are 
adequate; demand is light.
