SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance


New York egg prices are unchanged on both lighter and heavier weights. 
Regional and California prices are steady.  The undertone is steady.  
Supplies are light to moderate for trade needs.  Holiday demand ranges 
light to good, mostly moderate to fairly good.  Current offerings are 
light to moderate.  In California, offerings for Jumbo are becoming 
more available.  Market activity is moderate to active in the Southeast,
moderate elsewhere.  Breaking stock offerings and demand are light.    
Spent hen supplies are adequate; processing schedules are reduced due to 
the Thanksgiving holiday.
