SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York egg prices are unchanged for Extra Large, Large, and Medium.  
California and regional prices are steady.  The undertone is fully 
steady to firm.  The national shell egg inventory is 10.3 percent 
lower when compared to the previous week.  Retail demand is moderate 
to good, while distributive demand ranges light to at times fairly 
good.  Offerings are light to instances moderate.  Supplies are light 
to moderate.  Market activity is moderate to active.  Breaking stock
offerings are light for the light to moderate demand.  The national 
breaking stock inventory is down 3.3 percent from last week.  Spent 
fowl supplies are moderate; breaking schedules are normal to less         
than normal.
