SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York prices are down 10 cents for Extra Large and Large and unchanged 
for Medium.  California and regional prices are steady.  The undertone is 
mostly steady.  The national shell egg inventory is 4.3 percent higher 
when compared to the previous week.  Demand remains mixed, but mostly 
moderate.  Offerings are light.  Supplies are light to moderate.  Market 
activity is moderate.  Breaking stock supplies are light to moderate; 
breaking schedules are normal.  The national breaking stock inventory 
is up 11.8 percent from last week.  Spent fowl demand is light for the 
light to moderate offerings.
