SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance 


New York prices are up 8 cents for Extra Large and Large and 5 cents 
higher for Medium.  California and regional prices are steady.  The 
undertone is firm to instances higher.  The national shell egg inventory 
is 10.0 percent lower when compared to the previous week.  Retail demand 
remains moderate to good while foodservice demand is light to mostly 
moderate.  Offerings are light.  Supplies are light to moderate.  
Market activity is moderate to active.  Breaking stock supplies are 
light to moderate; breaking schedules are normal to reduced.  The 
national breaking stock inventory is down 10.6 percent from last week.  
Spent fowl supplies are moderate for the light to moderate demand.
