•	Global ending rice stocks in 2017/18 revised up 18.0 million tons to 141.5 million tons, highest since 2000/01. 

•	Bangladesh's 2017/18 rice production forecast lowered  0.5 million tons to 33.0 million tons.

•	Sri Lanka's 2016/17 rice crop estimate lowered 0.35 million tons to 2.0 million tons.
