Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 01/23/19
 
  Receipts:  4416   Week ago:  5651   Year Ago: 3695   

  Compared to a week ago; steer calves sold 3.00 to 5.00 lower on a lighter test 
with the exception of 700 lb steers sold steady with instances 4.00 higher. 
Heifer calves under 650 lbs traded unevenly steady with instances 2 lower.  
Heifer calves over 650 lbs sold unevenly steady with instances 3.00 higher. Nice 
showing of bigger feeder cattle with a light test today on greener grass cattle 
compared to last week.  Within the feeder cattle supply 67 percent were steers 
and 33 percent were heifers with 53 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
