     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Report 7 - Released on February 16, 2023

     Prices slid on both the rennet and acid casein markets. Despite some bearish price slides,
     contacts say the markets have been more steady/quiet than bearish in recent months. European
     milk production is noted as steady to higher, but casein processing notes are limited. As
     New Zealand's milking season draws nearer to its final seasonal act, processing is expected
     to move lower. Additionally, New Zealand's milk production has, again, seemed to be lighter
     than expected.

     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein
