     Prices for acid casein and rennet casein increased. The market is strongly firming.

     Many buyers are moving ahead with contracting, uneasy about strongly increasing prices but
     motivated to lock in supplies. This is especially true for buyers from New Zealand where
     milk production is seasonally declining, and will be for a number of months.
     Prices for: Spot Sales And Up to 3 Month Contracts, Free on Board - Warehouse, Non-
     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein

     Acid; Price Range - $/LB:                    3.5125-3.7225
     Rennet; Price Range - $/LB:                  4.0550-4.0850

     At GDT event 251 on January 7, 2019, the rennet casein all contracts price, $4.0701,
     increased 8.6 percent. The February contract price, $4.0710, increased 9.2 percent.
