     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Report 15 - Released on April 14, 2022

     A rare occurrence in 2022 took place this week, as casein prices remained unchanged from the
     previous report week. Still, general market tones are unchanging as demand continues to
     clearly overpower production, but reported trading was simply quieter ahead of the holiday
     weekend. Some of the same things reported at the beginning of 2022 can be said today. Buyers
     continue seeking loads from New Zealand, the European Union, and South America, but milk
     production in those regions, and therefore casein production, is still uncertain, at best.
     Prices for: Spot Sales And Up to 3 Month Contracts, Free on Board - Warehouse, Non-
     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein

     Acid; Price Range - $/LB:                    6.4200-6.7100
     Rennet; Price Range - $/LB:                  5.1300-5.2100
