     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Report 43 - Released on October 24, 2019

     Prices are steady for rennet casein. Acid casein prices firmed. Strong milk production in
     Ireland has helped with its 2019 casein production, even as other parts of the EU have not
     reported as much milk production as had been hoped. New Zealand milk production has been off
     to a good start this season, but slowed in September. Many casein buyers are looking for
     official October milk production data to better evaluate expectations. October milk
     production data, when released, will establish the peak production this season. That is when
     confidence about expected seasonal Oceania casein production will increase.

     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein
