     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Report 47 - Released on November 22, 2022

     Rennet and acid casein prices are unchanged during the shortened trading week. After last
     week's price updates, contacts do not expect many off-contract trading to take place for the
     remaining part of the year. There has been progress on contractual agreements for 2023.
     Processing improvements/increases in New Zealand are benefiting market activity, in general,
     contacts report. Still, milk production in the Oceania region is viewed as mixed. European
     milk production and dairy processing are also reportedly improved, particularly when
     compared to the hot and dry summer months, when both milk production and processing outlooks
     were clearly more bearish than they are currently.

     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein
