     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Report 45 - Released on November 10, 2022

     Acid casein prices declined, as reports from contacts suggest New Zealand's production has
     noticeably picked up in recent weeks. Rennet casein prices are unchanged, but contacts
     expect updates on those to come soon, as more contractual agreements are being made for both
     reported casein varieties. European contacts say somewhat mild fall weather is helping make
     up for the unseasonably hot/dry summer, in regards to milk output. Still, there are numerous
     factors to contend with from farm level milk output to casein processing in the EU. All
     said, casein markets are mixed to slightly bearish currently, but only in comparison to the
     notably bullish first three quarters of 2022.

     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein
