     Casein - National Casein Report for U.S. Imports

     Report 11 - Released on March 16, 2023

     Rennet casein prices were unchanged on limited trading activity outside of contracts. Acid
     casein prices moved lower on the bottom of the range, after weeks of steady/quiet pricing
     activity. The bearish price change was not unexpected from some contacts, who say processing
     has increased in the early months of 2023, as milk production in New Zealand was at its
     peak. Both acid and rennet casein are expected to meet some market pressure moving into Q2,
     but domestic demand expectations are still noted as fair.

     Restricted, All Mesh Sizes, Conventional, and Edible Casein
