USDA CARLOT VEAL CARCASS REPORT - Northeast and North Central Basis

Compared to last week: The special fed veal carcass market was mostly
steady on comparable sales of non-packer owned calves and steady on
packer owned calves. Demand was light to moderate on light offerings.
Harvest numbers were 3 percent higher compared to last week's
total. Dressed weights were down 1.7 pounds in the Northeast, down 5.4
pounds in the North Central, with the total NE & NC being down 3 pounds.

 Represents calves harvested Thursday through Saturday of last week.
VEAL CARCASS, SPECIAL FED, HOT BASIS-PAID TO PRODUCER - FOB BASIS
 Includes previously committed contract and open market calves.
