The World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) is prepared and released by the World Agricultural Outlook Board (WAOB). The report is released monthly, and provides annual forecasts for supply and use of U.S. and world wheat, rice, coarse grains, oilseeds, and cotton. The report also covers U.S. supply and use of sugar, meat, poultry eggs and milk, as well as Mexico’s supply and use of sugar. The WAOB chairs the Interagency Commodity Estimates Committees (ICECs), which include analysts from key USDA agencies who compile and interpret information from USDA and other domestic and foreign sources to produce the report. Wyoming Daily Grain Bids

This report is a daily grain report containing bids and/or trades of grain commodities. Grain commodities are classed and graded based on official USDA standards or guidelines for coarse grains, oilseeds, and/or pulses. Price information is released by USDA’s Livestock, Poultry, and Grain Market News Division under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service. This report contains price spreads and simple averages for individual grain commodities and may include a basis calculated from the current day or prior day close of a publicly traded futures price. The commodity exchanges used in calculating the basis are identified as either the Chicago Board of Trade, Minneapolis Grain Exchange, or Kansas City Board of Trade.

This report is a weekly or bi-weekly hay report containing trades, ask, and offering prices for forage commodities which include hay, straw, and silage. Hay is classified and graded using USDA hay quality designations and guidelines based on test parameters and/or physical description. Price information is released by USDA’s Livestock, Poultry, and Grain Market News Division under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service. This report will display a price range and weighted average price for established trades, and a bid price range if a trade is not established, but an asking price is given by a potential seller or offering price given by a potential buyer.

All livestock included in this report are graded and reported according to official USDA live animal standards or guidelines. Reports are organized based on USDA’s LPGMN formatting guidelines and instructions, under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service. This report is a weighted average report released on the current day after completion of the sale.

This report contains the information on weekly prices in Wyoming markets. The data presented includes prices on the following: feeder steers and feeder heifers categorized by weight range, slaughter cows and bulls categorized by conditioning, cows/pairs by age, hay by quality and type, and grain by crop.

This report contains information on grazing and lease contracts in Wyoming, Panhandle and Central Nebraska and Western South Dakota. The data provided includes information on pasture and range quality, topsoil moisture, and stock water supplies on a regional basis. Price ranges for lease contracts are listed for cow/calf pairs and yearlings on a regional basis. Also included is the snow report for this time of year.
