This publication contains information on quantity processed and prices paid to producers of farm-raised catfish. Contains comparison to previous publication.

This report surveys monthly and cumulative quantities of catfish delivered in the United States, including fingerlings, broodfish, and foodsize catfish. The report refers strictly to catfish feed delivered to bona fide catfish producers and excludes catfish feed delivered to producers of other species. The totals include both bagged and bulk feed.

This survey reports the percentage and cost of wildlife-caused loss of catfish, as well as the average expense to prevent loss in a number of catfish farming states. The Catfish Losses to Wildlife report showed producers surveyed report some wildlife-caused losses, and that the primary types of damage were wildlife eating catfish. Birds were reported as being the most common cause of loss.

This monthly full-text file contains the most current information on farm-raised catfish, including round weight purchased, prices paid, inventory, quantity sold, price, imports and exports. This report is supplemented by Catfish Production. The report refers strictly to farm-raised fish and excludes wild captured fish.

This full-text report, issued twice yearly, contains the grower inventory numbers of catfish by size groups for selected states. The report includes water acre usage, as well as total sales and a breakdown of usage by size group.

This biannual report contains the inventory numbers and values of all cattle and calves, number of operations and size group estimates by class and state, as well as for the entire United States. Also included are statistics on cattle on feed and grazing on small grain pasture, as well as calf crop data.

This bulletin presents final estimates on cattle inventory and calf crop, inventory by class, monthly cattle on feed numbers, and annual estimates of cattle on feed. Data presented here began being published in 1970.

This report contains the results of the cattle and calf auction by the Producers Livestock Auction Co in San Angelo, TX, with commentary on changes in supply, demand, price, and other observed trends. Includes relevant price and weight statistics for cattle by class.

Cattle Contracts Library Summary

This is an auction report containing prices paid for livestock.  All livestock included in this reports are graded and reported according to official USDA live animal standards or guidelines.  Reports are organized based on USDA’s LPGMN formatting guidelines and instructions, under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service. This report is a weighted average report released on the current day after completion of the sale.

This report is a cooperative effort of the National Agricultural Statistics Service and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service's Veterinary Services division, including non-ambulatory cattle and calf totals by region, weight category, and type of operation. It provides data on number of head and total value of cattle and calves lost by cause, as well as a percentage of predator and non-predator losses by predator and type, respectively.

This special publication reports on the number of cattle and calves on farms by sex and weight in the United States from 1965 to 1971. Note that cattle inventory class estimates were changed from a sex and age basis to a sex and weight basis beginning in 1970, as noted within this publication.
